HONORABLE CHAIRMAN JUSTICE HASAN FOEZ SIDDIQUE

Justice Hasan Foez Siddique was born on 26-09-1956. He hails from the district of Kushtia, Bangladesh.
He obtained his M A in Political Science from Dhaka University in 1978. He also obtained LL.B. Degree from Dhanmondi Law College, Dhaka in 1979.
Mr. Siddique was enrolled as an Advocate of the District Court, the High Court Division and the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh on 21-08-1981, 04-09-1983 and 27-05-1999 respectively.
He was Legal Advisor of Khulna City Corporation, Kushtia Municipality, Jalalabad Gas Transmission Company and Chief Law Adviser of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Besides he worked as Additional Attorney General for Bangladesh.
Mr. Siddique was elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh on 22-02-2001 and Judge of the same division on 25-03-2009. Later on he was elevated as the Judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh on 31-03-2013.
He participated in the conference of the South Asian Judges Regional Forum on Economic and Financial Crime held in Sri Lanka in 2011. He took part in the South Asian Conference on Environmental Justice in 2012 held in Pakistan. He also participated in the International Conference on Environment held in New Delhi, India in 2015.
Son of Late Abdul Gofur Mollah and Late Noorjahan Begum, Mr. Siddique is married and blessed with two daughters.
He visited India, Saudi-Arabia, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Justice Hasan Foez Siddique has been acting as the Chairman of Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission since 30-04-2015.

MR. MAHBUBEY ALAM, ATTORNEY GENERAL, BANGLADESH
Mr. Mahbubey Alam was born on 17.02.1949 in Munshiganj, Bangladesh. He obtained his B.A. (Hons) in Political Science in 1968 from Dhaka University and M.A. in Public Administration from the same University in 1969. Thereafter he obtained his LL.B. degree from Dhaka City Law College in 1972. Besides he earned Diploma Degree on Constitutional Law and Parliamentary Procedure from the Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies, New Delhi, India. He was enrolled as an Advocate of the District Court, the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and the Appellate Division of the same Court in 1973, 1975 and 1980 respectively. He was enrolled as Senior Advocate of the Appellate Division in 1998. Mr. Alam was elected as the Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association for the period of April, 1993 to March, 1994. He was also the member of Bangladesh Bar Council from July, 2004 to June, 2007. Besides he was elected as the President of Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association for the period of April, 2005 to March, 2006. He worked as Additional Attorney General for Bangladesh from 15th November, 1998 to 4th October, 2001. Mr. Alam was appointed as Attorney General for Bangladesh on 13.01.2009.
